Mark's approach to serving is a Mediator was created by handling thousands of cases on the defense and Plaintiff side. He mediates disputes involving Personal Injury, Professional Liability, Trucking Accidents, Maritime Litigation and Construction Disputes.
Mark is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a graduate of Loyola University School of Law. Following graduation, Mark practiced in New Orleans, Louisiana with Deutsch, Kerrigan & Stiles, LLP (“DKS”) with a focus on commercial litigation, insurance defense and professional liability. After working with DKS for several years, Mark relocated to Tampa, Florida where he became a shareholder with one of the largest law firms in the country, Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin (“MDWCG”).
While in Florida, Mark was recognized on multiple occasions in Thomson Reuters’ list of “Rising Stars.” On multiple occasions, Mark was also recognized as a “Rising Star” by Tampa Bay Magazine in their annual top attorneys list. Finally, Mark was recognized by Tampa Bay Business Journal’s list of Up and Comers in 2013.
After practicing in Tampa, Mark decided to return to his hometown to practice in Southeast Louisiana while continuing to litigate cases throughout the States of Florida and Mississippi. Since arriving back in Louisiana, Mark has been recognized as a Louisiana Super Lawyer in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
During his years with one of the nations’ largest defense litigation firms, Mark became an experienced trial attorney handling the most basic to complex cases. Mark has served as lead trial counsel on a wide variety of cases on both sides of the "v." Mark has seen the benefits and drawbacks to working in a large law firm environment. He has litigated cases on behalf of individuals and businesses involving disputes ranging from several thousand to millions of dollars. With Yeager LaNasa Tauzier, LLC, he is able to provide efficient and prompt legal services to all clients in need, which is not always practical in the large law firm setting.
Mark has extensive experience in handling matters involving insurance coverage, insurance bad faith, personal injury, immigration, employment disputes, admiralty/maritime injury claims, consumer protection litigation and construction litigation. Mark has aggressively litigated cases from the initial investigation stage through trial and appeal. Mark previously represented some of the nation’s largest companies and insurance carriers. He now represents individuals and small businesses with the same zealous advocacy. That experience makes Mark uniquely able to ensure all cases are handled efficiently with a focus on each client’s individual goals.
With offices on the Louisiana Southshore and Northshore, Mark actively handles cases involving trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, boating accidents and automobile accidents. Finally, Mark’s practice involves handling of construction disputes.
Tony is a founding partner of the Yeager LaNasa Tauzier LLC law firm in Metairie and Hammond, Louisiana. He has over 20 years of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of fields: personal injury, premises liability, construction disputes, trucking/motor vehicle accidents, and the general practice of law.
Tony grew up in and has spent the majority of his life in the New Orleans, Louisiana area. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business/Marketing from the University of Florida, graduating cum laude. From there, he attended The Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where he attained his Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, Tony was a member of the Civilian Society and the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. Tony also served as a Judicial Extern in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Given his goal of becoming a trial attorney, while at LSU, Tony participated in the National Institute of Trial Advocacy program.
Since becoming a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Tony has enjoyed a diverse civil practice. He began is legal career in New Orleans, focusing primarily on personal injury litigation. After the devastation and disruption of Hurricane Katrina, he and his family relocated temporarily to Tampa, Florida. In 2006, Tony became a member of The Florida Bar (which he currently maintains).
Through his years practicing in Louisiana and Florida, Tony has become an experienced trial attorney handling cases ranging from small claims to complex commercial litigation. Tony has also handled a wide array of insurance defense, construction litigation, insurer bad faith, products liability, and select family and criminal law matters. He has aggressively litigated cases from the initial investigation stage through trial and appeal. He has served as lead trial counsel as well as lead appellate counsel.
Tony has seen the benefits and drawbacks that come with working in both small and large law firms while enjoying a diverse civil practice. This broad range of experience has given him unique insight into the legal process and makes him an effective mediator.
Tony currently resides in New Orleans with his wife, Susan, and their children.
